#1: Using a Glycerin Based or Sorbitol Based Soap or
Face Wash.
Get great cleaning without the dryness or waxy feel to my skin with
these soaps. They balance the pH of the skin, creating a hostile
environment for bacteria.
#2: Regular Exfoliation
Speed up the exfoliation process so that the skin renews itself much
quicker. Ways to exfoliate-
1. Alpha and beta hydroxy acids
2. Dermabrasion
3. Peels
#3: Cut the Sugars
Lowering sugar intake is one of the main keys of skin health.
#4: Get Plenty Vitamin C & Water
Vitamin C is responsible for the skins overall function and most
importantly, its ability to repair itself and produce/maintain
collagen.
Drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water on a daily basis helps to maintain
the skin's elasticity, and is simply just essential to the health of
your body and skin.
#5: Use Sunblock to Protect Against the Sun and Harsh
Weather
If you have combination or oily skin, then you need to find an oil
free sunblock. If you have normal or dry skin, you can use a
moisturizer with sunblock. The SPF needs to be 15 - 30, no more
unless you are spending the entire day gardening or at the beach.
I recommend Neutrogena products for sunblocks as they are usually
noncomedogenic.
